This picture shows kinetic and potential energy. So potential energy is based in the object's position. Kinetic energy is based on the object's movement.

Thermal energy is basicly heat. So, this counts as fire, a turnt on stove or oven, a heater, and etc. The real definition of thermal energy is the kinetic energy of a substance's atoms.

Unit 1- Introduction of Matter
A project we did for the matter unit is a periodic table. On the periodic table we choose something and organized them as it would be on the original periodic table. All of this includes: periods, names, mass, number, and symbol.
A project we did for the matter unit is a periodic table. On the periodic table we choose something and organized them as it would be on the original periodic table. All of this includes: periods, names, mass, number, and symbol.
There are 4 types of states of matter they are: plasma, gas, liquid, and solids.

Unit 2- Motion and Forces
A project we did for the force and motion was a roller coaster. The things we used for this project included: foam pipes, marbles, pencil, and paper.

Unit 3- Work, Machines, and Energy
In this unit our project was to make a Rube Goldberg machine. We used the 5 simple machines which are: wheel and axle, lever, pulley, inclined plane, wedge, and screw.
